This cave system sits high in the Wasatch Mountains and consists of 3 spectacularly decorated caverns. Each cavern has unique colors and formations. ITINERARY
Your day begins at Midway Adventure Company where you will meet your guides and enjoy a beautiful scenic drive through the Alpine loop. This 20 mile drive winds through rugged alpine canyons of the Wasatch Range offering amazing views of Mount Timpanogos and other glacier-carved peaks. Once you reach the trail head of the Timpanogos Cave system, you will begin your 1.5 mile hike to the cave entrance; the 1,160ft elevation gain offers stunning views of American Fork Canyon. You will then have the opportunity to explore the cave system consisting of three spectacular decorated caverns. Helictites and anthodites are just a few of the many dazzling formations to be found in the many chambers. Upon completion of the cave system you will desend back to the trail head where a buffet lunch will be waiting for you. The drive back through the canyon will give you one last chance to take in the beauty of the spanning mountain ranges surrounding Midway.

- Cash for gratuities. Your guides will make every effort to see that each of your adventures is enjoyable and successful. Gratuities for guides are appropriate, greatly appreciated and at your discretion, as a gesture of thanks for each activity will likely differ, you’ll want to take some cash on each of the trips. The common practice is to give the gratuity to the guide at the end of the trip. In trips where multiple guides have participated, the gratuity will be split amongst all of them.
FAQ & POLICIES
Physical Requirements Our primary concern is participant safety. This is considered a strenuous 1. 5 mile hike. Although the trail is paved it rises 1,065 ft to an elevation of 6,730 ft above sea level.The round trip hike and tour takes approximately 3 hours, hiking experience and conditioning is required. Due to the steepness and incline of the cave trail, strollers and other wheeled vehicles are not allowed. It is important to note we have found that in some people the fact of age, weight, lack of conditioning, heart or other disease, can create additional hardship that diminishes the suitability or enjoyment of this type of vacation. Please consider these conditions in making your choice of the Cave Hike. Please check with your physician prior to your trip if you have any medical or health condition or if you are taking any medications, and then notify us of how we can better help you with these conditions. In general, participants will need to meet the following physical requirements:
- Ability to hike a strenuous 1.5 miles at a growing incline and at high elevation.
- Age 5 and up.

PAYMENTS AND CANCELATION POLICIES Payment in full is due at the time of booking.
Cancellations within 30 days of departure will be subject to cancellation fee. No-show guests and cancellations within 48 hours prior to departure are subject to forfeit full fare. If Midway Adventure Co. cancels any trip due to weather, mechanical failure, unsafe conditions, or insufficient reservations, a full refund will be provided. Listed prices do not include sales tax, applicable fees or gratuities. Full payment is required at the time of reservation. Printed prices may change from time to time based on Market conditions. The Timpanogos Hike runs from May 1 to Sep 30 and may change from season to season depending on weather.

Gratuities for guides are appropriate, greatly appreciated and at your discretion, as a gesture of thanks for their professionalism and service. As guides for each activity will likely differ, you’ll want to take some cash on each of the trips. A suggested guideline is 15%. The common practice is to give the gratuity to the guide at the end of the trip. In trips where multiple guides have participated, the gratuity will be split amongst all of them.
